Snetterton British GT 2024 Results

It was certainly an eventful weekend at the Snetterton British GT. Friday’s test went well Ian and the team.

Unfortunately the hard work and good spirit didn’t follow them in to the qualifying round, they suffered a few positional problems, but these were all lessons learnt for the races ahead.

Ian started Race 1 from the back of the grid, but this didn’t stop a great start to the race. The car felt good and Ian climbed through the positions until he realised something didn’t feel quite right with the car meaning a very difficult stint and track limits. Unfortunately this cost team Maliki the race and valuable points.

But all was not lost.

Our great pit team ran through lots of data for both cars to suit the weather conditions for Race 2. Gordie Mutch got off got off to a great start bring the car into 4th position before handing over to Ian Duggan. The last half of the race was manic to say the least with safety cars causing alot Team Maliki to lose ground.

The final 3 laps simply had to be seen to be believed. Somehow Ian managed to pull through to secure 3rd position for team Mahiki.

The driver and and the pit team worked incredibly hard over the entire weekend, securing a podium finish was the icing on the cake for was was definitely a difficult but rewarding weekend.
