Ian started racing 5 years ago with Ginetta GRDC, and following his first year, Ian came 3rd in the Ginetta G40 Chairman Cup, the Ginetta GT5 Am Champion, and the Ginetta SuperCup Am Champion. He secured multiple Podiums in the GT Cup, BGT, and the AM champion team. Ian loves living life to the fullest and trying to enjoy every day & every race as it comes.

Ian Joins Mahiki Racing

Among the drivers, Duggan is the only member of the Mahiki squad with past British GT experience. The multi-AM winning Ginetta champion and current BGT AM champion will partner Mutch, who graduates to the series having previously won the Praga Cup title in 2022. Mutch commented “Competing in British GT has been something I’ve been pursuing for years, so to have this opportunity is very special.

What’s Ahead ?

Ian Duggan and Mahiki Racing are set to debut the Lotus Emira GT4 in the British and the European GT Championships, re-introducing Lotus, the iconic UK brand with an extraordinary racing legacy, Mahiki Racing are to enter the GT4 grids with a two-car entry for 2024.

SRO European GT4 series attracts race teams on an international scale, and Lotus through Mahiki Racing will be joining premium racing brands including Mercedes AMG, Aston Martin AMR, McLaren, Audi Sport and Porsche to name a few.
